Gifts of Cash with Corporate Matching Gifts

Many companies encourage their employees to contribute to charities by offering a "matching gift" program. Your employer may donate funds equal to your contribution to the same fund, effectively doubling the gift. Check with your employer to see if they offer a charitable gift matching program.
